Terms & Conditions

By accessing this website or engaging the services of Axolotl Studio, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth below. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Axolotl Studio.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Axolotl Studio” refers to the business operated by 1001454787 Ontario Inc., an Ontario corporation.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

The booking requires a non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The retainer amount is 50% of the total. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled event.

Payments are accepted via Interac e-Transfer or major credit cards, subject to a 2.4% processing fee. Extended service hours may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability and must be approved and paid for prior to additional time commencing.

CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE

All retainers are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all payments received.
In the case of force majeure (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, or emergencies beyond either party’s control), Axolotl Studio will make reasonable efforts to reschedule once within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability. If rescheduling is not possible due to availability or is declined by the client, the retainer will be retained and no further amounts will be owed.

ACCESS, SPACE & POWER REQUIREMENTS

Clients are responsible for providing:

An 8’ x 8’ area with at least 7.5’ ceiling clearance
One (1) standard table
One (1) chair

If access, space, or conditions are unsafe or inadequate, Axolotl Studio may pause or terminate services. In such cases, services are deemed rendered and no refunds will be issued.

EQUIPMENT DOWNTIME

If an unexpected technical issue prevents Axolotl Studio from delivering more than fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service period, a prorated refund may be issued strictly for the portion of service time not delivered. On-site printing is a supplementary feature and is not considered an essential component of the service. In the event of printer malfunction or printing becoming unavailable, the service will be deemed fulfilled provided the photo booth remains operational for digital use. Applicable printed photos will be delivered after the event at no additional cost, and no refunds will be issued due to printing issues alone.

GUEST CONDUCT & DAMAGES

The client is responsible for any damages to equipment caused by misuse or inappropriate behaviour by guests (invited or uninvited). If equipment is deliberately interfered with, struck, tipped, or otherwise misused, Axolotl Studio may pause or terminate service immediately. In such cases, services are deemed rendered and no refunds will be issued. Axolotl Studio reserves the right to refuse service to any guest displaying unruly or unsafe behaviour.

MEDIA USAGE

By booking our services and using the photo booth, you grant Axolotl Studio permission to use photos and videos captured at the event for marketing, promotional, or social media purposes. To opt out, please contact us in writing before your event.
